The Imo state graduate was reportedly diagnosed with a terminal illness late last year which eventually claimed her life. Nigerian actors mourn as actress Nora Ugo Nkeiruka is laid to rest Fellow actors Ruth Kadiri, Grace Ama, among others were present to pay their final respects as the ‘Husbands of Lagos’ star was buried.

Ebele, a goalkeeper, plays for Heartland, who have recently gained promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League, and was voted player of the season for the former Nigerian champions, as they made an instant return to the Nigerian top flight. The Naze Millionaires topped the Nigeria National League Southern conference with several matches to spare. And the club have now said the main reason for this was goalkeeper Ebele Obi. Club spokesman Solomon Onu said the former Enugu Rangers shot stopper was incredible throughout their promotion campaign in the lower league. Ebele recorded 15 clean sheets in 27 matches in the NNL and he was also the star as Heartland reached the Round of 16 of the Aiteo Cup.
