The Kogi State Chief of Staff has commended Mercy Johnson, who is currently on set with Sam Dede and Odunlade Adekola for "Inikpi." Mercy Johnson on set of "Inikpi" Mercy Johnson -Okojie is currently shooting a new movie in Kogi state. The movie which is titled "Inikpi," features fresh talents, who were discovered during the GYB Talent Hunt, which was organized by the actress in Kogi state in August 2017. While on set, the Chief of Staff to Kogi state government, Edward Onoja, paid a courtesy visit to the actors. During his visit, Onoja commended the Senior Special Assistant to Kogi State Governor on Entertainments, Arts and Culture, Mercy Johnson-Okojie, for her strides in driving the entertainment industry in the state to a global recognition. "Very clearly, I've seen that it was not just all talk, but actions have also matched the talk," Onoja said. The Chief of Staff described the movie "Inikpi" as a veritable platform to put the talents discovered into practical and positive use, and encouraged the cast to put in their best. He also pledged the support of the government to the project. Speaking on behalf of his colleagues, Sam Dede thanked Onoja for finding time to visit the location, and giving their colleagues his full support. Shooting of "Inikpi" kicked off eight days ago with Mercy Johnson alongside cast members Sam Dede, Odunlade Adekola, Saheed Balogun, Paul Obazele among others. Directed by Frank Rajah Arase, the movie tells the story of Inikpi, the legendary Igala princess warrior.
