Super Eagles move up in latest FIFA ranking- FCNaija fcnaija.com Nov 3, 2017 4:56 AM Super Eagles of Nigeria has climb three places to 38th in World in the latest FIFA ranking. The new ranking in the month of november now put Nigeria in the fourth position in African ahead of Mohammed Salah Pharaoh of Egypt, Teranga Lions of Senegal and Indomitable Lions of Cameroon. The top ten in the world remain unchanged with Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Chile, Colombia, France, Belgium, Portugal, Switzerland and Spain retain their position. Gernot Rorh side climbed up two places after defeating Zambia to qualify to World Cup in Russia with one match to go against Algeria. Super Eagles travel to take on Desert Warrior of Algeria before tackling Argentina in Russia three day later during international break. .

Ebele, a goalkeeper, plays for Heartland, who have recently gained promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League, and was voted player of the season for the former Nigerian champions, as they made an instant return to the Nigerian top flight. The Naze Millionaires topped the Nigeria National League Southern conference with several matches to spare. And the club have now said the main reason for this was goalkeeper Ebele Obi. Club spokesman Solomon Onu said the former Enugu Rangers shot stopper was incredible throughout their promotion campaign in the lower league. Ebele recorded 15 clean sheets in 27 matches in the NNL and he was also the star as Heartland reached the Round of 16 of the Aiteo Cup.
