Many Dead As Boko Haram Strikes Again, Sends Deadly Signal To Army Chief Emerging report, on Monday morning, revealed that Boko Haram insurgents have bombed two Internally Displaced Persons, IDP, camps, in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, leaving many dead, and several people injured An official of the Borno State Emergency Management Agency, SEMA, has confirmed the bomb blast. He said that a total of seven persons were killed, including the suicide bombers. This blast came a few days after the Chief of Army Staff, gave the Military 40 days to capture the Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau. The official said the 15 IDPs who sustained injuries, had been taken to the State Specialist Hospital for treatment, while those of them with minor injuries, were treated at the camp clinic. As at the time this report was filed, Victor Isukku, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Borno State Police Command, could not be reached for comments, as he did not respond to calls, or reply text messages.
